Smart scan

eScraper Smart Scan feature allows extraction of product data with automatic field detection.

On the first run you will see an option to create a new scan. The “Create new” option allows you to detect fields to scrape automatically without any manual configuration or technical skills with the help of Smart Scan. Use this option to proceed. 

Click on Create to proceed

Smart Scan option is also available from the Toolbar. Click on the Smart Scan option to start

Specify the direct link to the product page that contains all fields to set the scrape. It is important to specify the product URL. 

NOTE: If you specify the homepage URL, eScraper will not detect product fields automatically. 

Wait until the scraper detects all the fields.

 You can proceed with the scrape by clicking OK or click Not to check the selected fields or add more fields

Wait untill the scraper finds all products - it may take some time to scrape the whole site. 

Wait till the scrape is finished to check the result, or you can stop the scrape and save the extracted data into a .csv file.

Check the file with the scraped data

eIMPORTANT NOTE: If you do not see any result for a long period, please cancel th scrape, open the Scenario tab and Play Scenario to check the expected result

Here you can see the data for the product that you entered the url in the first step
